Common questions about pricing and scope.
A project is a single engineering document package with a shared tag numbering system. Typically this corresponds to one plant area, one unit, or one facility scope. If you have separate P&ID series and separate instrument indexes for two distinct facilities, those are two projects. Projects within a single site with a unified tag system count as one.
Yes. Documents you upload during the Pilot are retained when you upgrade to the Project tier for the same project. No need to re-upload or re-index.
Each uploaded file counts as one document, regardless of the number of sheets or tabs it contains. A multi-sheet P&ID PDF counts as one document. An Excel line list with multiple tabs counts as one document.
No. Within your active subscription, there is no per-revision or per-conflict charge. Uploading a new revision replaces the previous document in the index. You can run as many conflict reports and revision propagations as your project requires.
SnapScale currently supports: P&ID drawings as PDF (text-layer required), instrument datasheets as XLS/XLSX or PDF (tabular format), line lists as XLS/XLSX, equipment specifications as PDF (tabular sections). Contact us if you need support for a specific proprietary format or DMS export format.
Yes. Project documents are encrypted at rest and in transit, accessible only to users in your organization's SnapScale account. SnapScale does not use your project data to train models or share it with third parties. Contact us if your project requires data residency in a specific region.
