Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your use of snapscaie.com and the SnapScale document-consistency platform (the "Service") operated by SnapScale Co., Ltd. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") (521 Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 06164, South Korea). By using the Service you accept these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the laws of your country of residence.
SnapScale is an AI document-consistency tool for EPC plant-design firms. The Service reads engineering document sets (P&IDs, instrument datasheets, line lists, and equipment specifications) and flags downstream inconsistencies when upstream values change. Access is provided under a Pilot tier (free, evaluation), Project tier (per-project subscription), or Program tier (custom enterprise agreement). Access to the Service requires a request and approval by the Company; self-serve public registration is not available.
2. Use of the Service
- You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction or have parental consent, and you must be using the Service on behalf of an organisation with the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
- You agree not to use the Service unlawfully, to interfere with its operation, to attempt unauthorised access to any account or system, or to introduce malicious code.
- You may not scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the Service or its underlying technology except as expressly permitted by mandatory law.
- You may not use the Service to process documents you do not have the right to submit, or to derive outputs that infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
3. Intellectual Property
The Service -- including its consistency engine, cross-reference index technology, user interface, and associated software -- is owned by the Company or its licensors and is protected by South Korean and international intellectual-property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service solely for your organisation's internal EPC document-management purposes.
The outputs generated by SnapScale (cross-reference indexes, change propagation reports, consistency flags) belong to you. The Company does not claim ownership of your uploaded engineering documents or the outputs derived from them.
4. User Content and Document Data
You are responsible for all content you submit to the Service, including engineering documents. By submitting documents you represent that you have the right to do so and that submission does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.
You grant the Company a limited licence to store, process, and analyse your submitted documents solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use submitted document content to train AI or machine-learning models, develop competing products, or share it outside the scope described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Tier-Specific Commitments
The Pilot tier covers one active project of up to 50 documents and is provided free of charge for evaluation purposes. The Project tier covers up to three concurrent projects of up to 500 documents each at the published monthly per-project rate. The Program tier is subject to a separate enterprise agreement, which may include a service level agreement (SLA) and a data processing agreement.
Pricing is published at snapscaie.com/pricing.html. The Company reserves the right to adjust pricing on 30 days' notice; continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of revised pricing.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Company disclaims all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Service is a document-consistency checking aid; it does not replace the professional engineering judgement of qualified engineers. You are solely responsible for verifying outputs and for decisions made on the basis of those outputs. Mandatory consumer warranties applicable in your country of residence are not affected.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company's total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the fees paid by you to the Company in the three months preceding the claim, except for liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SnapScale Co., Ltd. from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, your violation of any third-party right, or any documents you submitted to the Service.
9. Termination
The Company may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or misuse of the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 10) will survive. Upon termination, the Company will delete your uploaded documents within 90 days unless longer retention is required by law or agreed under a Program tier data processing agreement.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Korea.
Disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Seoul, South Korea, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence.
11. Changes and Contact
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
